Founded by members of the Peugeot family in 1988, the Musée de l’Aventure Peugeot is a historical museum devoted to the renowned Peugeot automobile business.

Aventure Peugeot

From the beginnings of an industrial saga in the Montbeliard region to one of the most beautiful industrial affairs of France, this is the story of a family of men and women, who shaped a territory, the image of a brand with a roaring lion, who sets off to conquer the world.

Established from an association created by Pierre Peugeot, the Aventure Peugeot Museum exhibits more than 200 years of products ranging from handed tools, household goods, fashion accessories, cycles and automobiles.
An extraordinarily long adventure, still alive and fascinating to visitors.

The Museum

More than a museum, an adventure; more than an association, a passion; more than a story, a future
An exceptional place.

From saw blades, coffee, spice and grain grinders, sewing machines, tools, two-wheelers, automobiles from every era, newer sports vehicles and futuristic concept cars, from 1810 to today, the Musée Aventure Peugeot presents 210 years of industrial history that has its origins in the Montbéliard region and extends across the globe. Today the museum is comprised of nearly 8,000meters squared of exhibition space with its collection seen by more than 50,000 visitors each year.

There are plenty of reasons to come visit the Museum. From seeing vehicles used in movies, champion race cars, concept cars, limited edition Peugeot models, nocturnal visits, egg hunts and even Valentine’s day celebrations, there is plenty to see and do here.

Ariane DAGUIN | D’ARTAGNAN

New York Times article — March 2017

Is Gascony the Most Delicious Corner of France?

“Gascony is not merely distinct from Provence and the Côte d’Azur. It is, in my estimation, better”

“Also — interesting fact — the humans who do live there live a long time”

“Gascon cooking…. is a cuisine best eased into…”

“Gascony is fundamentally a rural place, and to imbibe its true essence you have to leave the towns behind and venture deep into the countryside…… Such excursions are in my opinion the best possible way to work up your appetite.”
